You had me at Airwolf

I was in love with Stringfellow Hawk. Seriously. Absolutely crushed out over the rogue pilot with the steely eyes. What was I, like 7 years old or something?? That is a pretty respectable crush when you consider my peers were head-over-heels for Kirk Cameron. Did you know that his salary for his work on Airwolf was the highest paid of any actor in American television, at the time? They couldn't have paid him enough, in my opinion! Face from the A-Team was also my boyfriend, but thats a blog post for another time...

If you aren't familiar with Airwolf then you better educate yourself!

The series's protagonist is Stringfellow Hawke (played by Jan-Michael Vincent), a loner who lives in a cabin in the mountains. Hawke is a recluse, spending most of his time alone with his priceless painting collection, and playing his cello. Hawke was one of Airwolf's original test pilots. He is called upon by Michael Coldsmith Briggs III (cryptonym: Archangel) of the mysterious 'Firm', a covert branch of the Central Intelligence Agency that built Airwolf, to steal it back from its twisted creator, Dr. Charles Henry Moffet, who has taken Airwolf to Libya. Hawke, with Santini, finds the aircraft, but does not return it. Instead, he hides it and occasionally flies it to carry out undercover missions for Uncle Sam, in exchange for assistance from The FIRM in locating his lost brother, St. John (pronounced "Sin-jin") Hawke, missing in action since the Vietnam War.

And after blowing up other evil helicopters in the desert, he would go back to his cabin and play his cello in his canoe amd cry for his longlost brother.. while the lone eagle circled overhead, sharing his sorrow...

I'm sorry.. it's getting a little dusty in here now... *tear*

Confessions of a teenage ho:

I have 3 that come to mind:

1) Ponch from CHIPS

2) Will Wheaton from Stand by Me and Star Trek fame

and .........

3) I danced in my living room hoping that Jason Bateman would see me and think - I love her - I HAVE to marry her. And then ... I would spend an hour daydreaming about our new life together once he saw how well I danced.

I am so embarrassed - yet feel refreshed to be free of my shame!

Balthazar Getty after viewing Lord of the Flies. I crushed HARD on him. The sucky thing was that he wasn't that popular, so I had trouble finding pics of him to paste on my closet. I think I had one or two treasured ones from YM.
